NEW YORK — A Flint native brings home $10,000 after winning the ultimate prize on Food Network’s new cooking show ‘Cooks vs. Cons.’
Brian Adams, 43, was among the four contestants competing on Thursday night’s show which aired on March 31.
On the show professional chefs and home cooks compete against each other on the clock as judges watch and observe their process in the kitchen.
Contestants must tackle rounds of challenges where a surprise ingredient must be used in the dish for the judges to taste and pick a winner.
After the first round of eliminations, Adams was able to be one of the remaining cooks going head-to-head using the secret ingredient “Pickles.”
Adams final dish Crab Cake Benedict won the judges over and he took home $10,000 for his mouthwatering dish.
